Car-Part.com offers a myriad of website services, offering customers many options to boost sales in the simplest and most cost-effective ways. Our services range from simply putting your parts on our top-rated website to our extensive Car-Part Gold package.
Car-Part.com web services work with your inventory management system, and include:
Our basic service gives you the option to have your parts uploaded to the Car-Part.com website, your website, state association websites, and DPR shops who use CCC® or Mitchell Estimating Systems. Your data is uploaded daily, so the parts listed are current. If you use standard ARA Damage Codes, you offer potential customers quality information so you can make that sale!
Trading Partners™ is linked to your inventory management system. After looking up a part in AimsŪ, Isoft®, Fast Parts®, Hollander®, Checkmate®, Pinnacle® or Powerlink®, you simply press one designated F-key on your keyboard. Your Internet browser window will open and display the Trading Partners results for that part:
The page displayed offers information about the part including year, make, model, description, mileage or damage, part grade, stock number, price and dealer information. From this page, you can request a quote or use Car-Part Messaging™ with Live Chat, which helps you instantly communicate with the seller.
Website Advantage is a group of Car-Part.com services which include the following services:
- Brokerage partners: Display inventory from up to 5 other facilities and aftermarket vendors on your webpage. If you don't have a part in stock, your customers can still buy the part from you if one of your brokerage partners has it in stock.
- Wheel imaging: When a customer searches for a wheel or wheel cover from your website, images are displayed for easier and exact searches.
- Price filters: Price filters allow you to adjust which prices are displayed in the results of a given search. You can include three options for pricing; these adjustments can include percent markups, fixed dollar markups, or the display of wholesale prices. You can define the price adjustments depending on how your parts are searched, whether on your website, with Trading Partners, or in data feeds.
- Search by images: Customers can view a generic sample of parts, so they can search for the part they need without knowing the name of the part. Customers can view outside, inside, underneath, and engine compartment views, in addition to miscellaneous pictures of hard-to-see parts.
- Website statistics: Reports are available for the searches performed on your website, the main Car-Part.com site, and (most importantly) the parts your counter people are looking up in their F-key searches. Statistics include the hot sellers from your personal website, from Car-Part.com's main search, and from your region. In each category, the Top 100 Models Report will show you the 100 most commonly searched models You will see the number of searches made for each model, and what percentage of the total searches were for that models. You can also see the top 30 part searches for this model, along with the number of searches and appropriate percentage for each part type for that model. The Top 52 Parts Report shows the most popular parts and interchange numbers, and helps to ensure that you inventory the parts people are buying. Your website statistics and insurance company statistics are available at no charge if you forward your inventory information to the insurance companies.
- Email accounts: Website Advantage includes up to 5 email accounts. This includes setup on our anti-virus servers, significantly reducing your chances of getting a virus on your PC.
- Quote forms: You have access to two quote forms, so you can offer different quotes to insurance companies and the retail public. When someone performs a search and locates a part in your inventory, an option to request a quote or request an insurance quote is displayed:
Clicking these links will bring up a quote request form, which customers will fill out. This quote request form will automatically be emailed to you with all the information.
